What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the ConsentCook website and dashboard, and in the consent banner our customers publish to their own visitors. Accessibility is treated as part of the work rather than a later pass.
How we test
Every public page and every signed-in dashboard page is checked with automated accessibility tooling as part of our routine work, and all of them currently pass those automated checks without errors. Issues found this way — heading order, list semantics, form labelling, contrast — are fixed before release.
What we have not done
Automated checks are not the same as conformance. We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit, and we have not yet tested the product or the consent banner with screen readers and other assistive technology in a structured way. Until we have, we describe WCAG 2.2 AA as our target and not as a claim of conformance. That work is planned.
Known limitations
Because the manual testing above has not been done, we cannot yet make specific commitments about screen-reader behaviour, focus order in the banner builder, or the accessibility of every banner design and colour combination a customer can configure. If you rely on assistive technology and something does not work, please tell us — a real report is worth more to us than a passing score.
